MUST HAVES :

Proven experience setting up and operating CNC 3 & 4-Axis lathes (5-Axis experience a plus)

Ability to set up, operate, and adjust machines with minimal supervision

Strong blueprint reading skills and ability to set feeds, speeds, and tooling

Skilled in inspecting machined parts using precision measuring instruments

Able to lift up to 70 lbs

Position Details : Shift : 2nd Shift

Hours : 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM

Employment Type : Full-Time | Direct Placement

Pay : $25 – $32 per hour

Job Overview :

The CNC Lathe Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-Axis) to produce high-quality precision parts. This role requires independence, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Set up and operate CNC lathes (3, 4, and 5-Axis) following blueprint specifications

Adjust machines and troubleshoot controllers, processes, and equipment as needed

Select tooling and set feeds and speeds to meet production standards

Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools to verify accuracy and quality

Work independently while maintaining consistent productivity

Maintain a clean, organized work environment, including tools and equipment

Monitor tool inventory and reorder as necessary

Perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 70 lbs

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED

Hands-on experience in CNC 3 & 4-Axis lathe setup and operation

5-Axis and aerospace machining experience preferred
