Developmental Flight Test Pilot And Assistant Operations Officer (ADO)
MTSI is seeking an experienced Developmental Flight Test Pilot and Assistant Operations Officer (ADO) to support our flight test division in Las Vegas, NV. Responsibilities include:
- Perform developmental / operational flight test of unmanned aircraft as pilot in command
- Plan and execute flight tests within given safety, security, and operational constraints
- Conduct mission briefs and debriefs, leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers, aircrew, maintenance, and support personnel
- Assist organization leadership in developing and managing training, standardization and evaluation, and/or special qualification programs for unit-assigned aircrew personnel
- Provide long-term continuity for on-going test program
Required Experience:
- Minimum 5 years Fighter, Bomber, or ISR operational experience
- Military TPS graduate or minimum flight time including all of the following:
- 2,000 total pilot in command hours
- 200 PIC hours during engineering flight test
- 10 hours during experimental flight test
- Air-ground weapons employment experience, preferably in flight test environment
- Ability to effectively function and make decisions in dynamic, high-pressure environments
- Ability to maintain FAA Class II medical
Desired Experience:
- Formal USAF Safety training
- Flight Evaluator and Instructor
- Previous Squadron Command or Director of Operations
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or scientific field
Travel Requirements: Periodic travel may be required. Non-traditional work hours may be required for exercise execution events. Expectation is that work will be performed on-site.
Clearance Requirements: Current active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility as well as the ability to attain special program access is required. U.S. Citizenship is required.
