The Opportunity

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead/Manage a team of 3 to 5 Electrical Engineers in the design of water/wastewater and food & beverage projects
• Provide technical guidance and direction to engineering and technician staff
• Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications
• Coordinate with regional and global design teams
• Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations

Additional Project Opportunities

• Studies Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis
• Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues
• Support business development and build relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Professional Engineers license in MO, KS, or another US jurisdiction
• 11+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services
• Consulting and Water/Wastewater and/or Food & Beverage experience preferred
• Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software a plus

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing
• Minimum of 8 years related work experience
