CNC Programmer / Machinist

Location : Stoughton, MA Job Type : Full-Time $75,000-$95,000

Position Summary The CNC Programmer / Machinist produces high-precision components for aerospace and defense applications. This role is responsible for CNC programming, machine setup, and machining operations while meeting strict quality, tolerance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and / or lathes
• Develop CNC programs using CAD / CAM software and G-code
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T
• Select tooling, feeds, and speeds for aerospace-grade materials
• Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections
• Machine parts to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
• Troubleshoot machining and programming issues
• Maintain documentation for quality and traceability compliance
• Follow AS9100 / ISO standards and all safety procedures
• Maintain clean, organized machines and work areas
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
