Position : Transaction Processing Specialist - Mailroom / Machine Operator

Pay Rate : $18 / hr

Schedule : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

Hours : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM (40 hrs / week)

Days Off : Wednesday & Sunday

Type : Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Position Overview

The Transaction Processing Specialist II provides essential administrative and mailroom support within a high-volume business operations environment. This role focuses on processing, sorting, scanning, and handling incoming mail using specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate mailroom equipment, including :

OPEX P40 Mail Sorter

  • OPEX Envelope Opener
  • High- and Low-Speed Capture Scanners
  • Sort and prepare incoming mail for processing (machine and manual sorting).
  • Perform physical sorting into designated lockbox bins.
  • Hand-sort mis-sorted items and handle exception items.
  • Complete inbound mail scanning and delivery tasks.
  • Conduct basic data entry and maintain accuracy across all records.
  • Perform compliance checks and quality assurance testing as required.
  • Provide clerical support and assist with additional tasks as assigned.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Lifting up to 10 lbs
  • Manual mail handling and machine operation

  • Basic computer literacy
  • Reliable data entry skills
  • Ability to learn and operate mailroom machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
