Shift Manager Role
The shift manager plays an important role in the training, development, and direction of the crew. Serves as a fundamental part of the leadership team, helps the restaurant serve the tastiest chicken and coordinates a smooth operation from start to finish to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan your shifts
- Verify compliance with procedures and protocols
- Attend to and resolve problems that arise in the restaurant operation
- Assist the General Manager
- Train and lead a team without supervision
- Involve in operational and technical employee training
- Maintain a positive atmosphere of teamwork and energy
- Verify customer satisfaction / Handle customer complaints
- Apply a mindset of continuous improvement to processes and procedures
- Open / close restaurant
- Help with inventory (record)
- Help with staffing needs
- Help with controllables and labor : maintains general standards of sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety for food preparation areas, kitchen services, and dishes and utensils.
- Follow and comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
