Total Hours Per Week : 35 hours per week

  • Duration of Contract : New School Year 202526

    • Responsibilities

  • Plan prepare and deliver high-quality math instruction aligned with state standards and school curriculum
  • Develop engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking problem-solving and mathematical reasoning
  • Assess student learning using formative and summative assessments to guide instructional decisions
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of all students
  • Provide academic support tutoring and enrichment opportunities as needed
  • Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance understanding of mathematical concepts
  • Collaborate with colleagues administrators and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance attendance and communication
  • Create a positive inclusive and growth-oriented classroom environment

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mathematics Education or a related field required
  • Masters degree in Education or Mathematics preferred
  • Valid California Teaching Credential in Mathematics (Single Subject) or Multiple Subject with math emphasis required
  • Prior experience teaching math at the elementary or middle school level preferred
  • Strong classroom management communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and use data to inform teaching practices
  • Proficiency with educational technology tools and math instructional software
