We are seeking an Architectural Millwork Fabricator with substantial experience in crafting custom woodwork for high-end homes. The right candidate for this position will possess the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Highly skilled in the fabrication of custom cabinets and architectural millwork
- Able to interpret and utilize blueprints, drawings, engineering specifications, and various types of measuring instruments to meet dimensional requirements
- Knowledgeable of the different types of woods, materials, and processes utilized in woodworking
- Operates and maintains a variety of woodworking tools and machinery used to produce precision cuts and finishes: saws, routers, shapers, edge banders, sanders, etc.
- Maintains productivity and completes projects in full without heavy oversight, including self-checking own work for completeness, accuracy, and meeting quality standards
- Reports to the supervisor for direction and promptly reports any questions or problems
- Maintains a safe and hazard-free work environment
- Communicates positively and respectfully in all situations
- Is a cooperative member of the team and works with integrity
- Is flexible and supports project goals and deadlines as directed by the supervisor
- Is organized, highly attentive to detail, and achieves a product of exceptional quality
- Is someone the team can depend on: starts work on time, stays on task, helps others if needed, knows when to ask for help, and is focused on solutions.
- Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
