Emergency Medicine Physician

SMART is actively recruiting for a locum emergency medicine physician to provide coverage for a client of ours in College Station, TX. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and ongoing during permanent recruitment.
Qualifications:

• Active TX license preferred but will consider those with IMLC
• BC/BE Emergency Medicine
• EM eligible: Current ATLS, ACLS and PALS are required
• EM Boarded: ACLS and PALS required to be current, ATLS can be expired but will need a copy of the card.
• Looking for candidates with at least 3-4 shifts of availability per month.

Job Summary:

• Shift times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a
• APC Shift Times: 11a-9p
  
• Annual Volume: 23,000
• Avg. 16% admit rate
• ED runs codes
  
• Back up specialties: FM, IM, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiology, ENT, ID, Neurology and GI consults
  
• Level IV trauma center
• EMR: PICIS
