Job Description

Responsible for operating a tape edge machine in a mattress manufacturing environment to assemble finished mattresses according to production schedules. Utilizes hands-on mattress experience to ensure products meet quality, safety, and delivery standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate and monitor tape edge machines to assemble mattresses per specifications

Read production schedules and prepare materials for each run

Inspect finished mattresses for quality, accuracy, and workmanship

Safely remove and transfer completed mattresses to designated areas

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation

Follow all safety procedures and report equipment or quality issues as needed

Work collaboratively with production team to meet daily output goals

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of experience in mattress manufacturing, preferably with tape edge machines

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to read schedules, follow work instructions, and perform basic math

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 100 lbs with assistance when needed

Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
