Senior Backend Engineer

Tecovas is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to scale Tecovas business operations to the next level, reporting directly to the Manager of Backend Engineering. The Sr Backend Engineer is an experienced engineer who will be responsible for building, deploying, testing, and operating the systems that power Tecovas' operational infrastructure. In this role, you will implement and improve processes that ensure scalability, security, and performance, while streamlining critical workflows across the business. You'll work closely with teams across Tecovas to ensure data moves accurately and efficiently between systems, reducing manual effort and enabling the organization to operate faster and smarter. As a key cross-functional partner, you'll have broad exposure to Tecovas' teams and platforms and play a meaningful role in driving company-wide impact.

This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

What you'll do :

• Design, build, test, deliver, and support highly scalable solutions across the entire solution stack
• Providing code reviews, engage in pair programming exercise, and providing feedback on solution design
• Provide suggestions and enhancements to future and current code bases, test pipelines, and deployment pipelines based on your deep experience and subject matter expertise
• Work directly with business partners and stakeholders to provide guidance and provide scalable solutions to complex issues
