Litigation Associate

Seeking a litigation attorney to join the Rochester, Buffalo, or Albany, NY offices . The ideal candidate will have at least 3-7 years of sophisticated litigation experience in a law firm setting. Requirements include drafting and arguing motions, drafting and responding to discovery, handling document production, and conducting / defending depositions. Experience with New York state court litigation preferred. Qualified candidates must have excellent writing skills, the ability to work independently, and possess a strong, positive presence and advocacy ability.

As of this posting, the estimated annual base salary range for this position is $129,800 – $170,400 . Actual base salary will be based upon criteria such as experience, qualifications, and skill level.

Requirements :

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other practice areas to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.

Salary :  $145,000 to $215,000
