We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Torrance, CA. This is a great chance to provide coverage for a medical leave while enjoying a flexible work schedule.

Key Details :

  • Start Date : ASAP
  • End Date : April 1, 2025
  • Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM
  • Practice Setting : Outpatient only; no inpatient responsibilities
  • EMR System : Epic
  • Support Staff : Collaborative team including RNs, MAs, and PAs / NPs

Practice Highlights :

  • Patients Per Shift : Average of 23
  • No Call or Rounding Required : Focus solely on outpatient care
  • Certifications Required :

    • BLS

  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Skills Needed :

    • Routine and high-risk pregnancy management

  • OB ultrasounds (Level I / II)
  • C-sections and VBACs
  • Office gynecology procedures (e.g., IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy)
  • Surgical gynecology including laparoscopic procedures
  • Endometrial biopsies, hysteroscopy, and polyp removals
