Activity / Life Enrichment Assistant-2nd & 4th Sunday and As Needed

2nd and 4th Sunday, 1st shift ( 9am-12pm) and As Needed for Team Coverage

As the Activity / Life Enrichment Assistant you will assist implement a variety of educational and recreational programs with the intent of fostering independence of the residents regarding their physical, mental, social and emotional needs.

• Experience and / or education in programming, organizing and working with older adults.
• Clear communication skills both verbal and written, as well as tact and courtesy when working.
• Ability to keep accurate and clear records according to Luther Manor
• Use a team approach with all staff and departments.
• Must function independently; have flexibility, and the ability to work effectively with all staff, residents and families.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends in accordance with resident needs and desires.
• Ability to prioritize and be organized.
