As we continue to grow and bring on new providers and locations, we’re seeking a detail-oriented Dental Credentialing Specialist to manage provider enrollment, credentialing, and compliance — ensuring our team stays eligible, compliant, and ready to treat patients.
What You Will Do- Manage the entire credentialing and re-credentialing process for dental providers across multiple payers
- Submit and track applications, including NPI registration, insurance panel enrollments, malpractice insurance documentation, and any required certifications/licensures.
- Maintain an organized credentialing database — track expiration dates, license renewals, and ensure provider files are complete and up to date.
- Enroll providers and practice locations into Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) programs when required.
- Serve as liaison between the company, insurance payers, and regulatory bodies; respond to payer requests and follow up on pending submissions.
- Coordinate credentialing for new locations or practice expansions, including gathering required data, submitting paperwork, and ensuring network credentialing.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on credentialing status, pending approvals, and upcoming expirations or re-credentialing deadlines.
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and ensure all provider credentials meet state, federal, and payer-specific requirements.
What We’re Looking For- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree (healthcare administration, business, or related field) preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in healthcare or dental credentialing, provider enrollment, or related administrative role — prior dental experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with credentialing portals and databases (e.g. CAQH, NPPES, payer portals, NPI registry).
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and record-keeping skills, and ability to manage deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and comfort using dental practice management software.
- Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with providers, payers, and internal teams.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently but also as part of a collaborative team.
