Wind Crest is a beautiful 84-acre continuing care retirement community located in Highlands Ranch, just 15 minutes southwest of Denver, Colorado. We’re part of a growing network of communities developed and managed by Erickson Senior Living, a national provider of senior living and health care with campuses in 11 states—and growing.

We are hiring a part-time, Certified Fitness Specialist to join our team. The Fitness Specialist will assess, monitor, and develop individual fitness programs for residents.

Compensation: $19-$24/hour (based on experience)

Hours: 8am-2pm, Monday to Friday

How you will make an impact:

• Performing fitness assessments which include vital signs.
• Prescribing an appropriate exercise program, including flexibility, strength, and cardiovascular training.
• Teaching various group fitness classes
• Educating and evaluating members on proper exercise techniques.
• Assisting with coordination and implementation of Wellness programs.
• Maintaining a clean and safe fitness area for members.
• Building strong relationships with residents and staff, encouraging them to be physically active.

What you will need:

• Associate’s degree in Health Education or related field preferred
• Must be a Certified Personal Trainer
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is highly preferred
• Minimum of 1-year related work experience.
