Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a self-starter, talented, enthusiastic, and technically proficient Assistant Project Manager with demonstrated capabilities in building design and production. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative design environment and have experience working with a diverse portfolio of building types, including governmental buildings, educational facilities, and healthcare institutions.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and supervise the production of design and contract documents for various building types.
• Coordinate with staff to meet project goals, objectives, and schedules.
• Assist in project management tasks, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Manage relationships with design consultants, owner representatives, public officials, and review officials.
• Assist with quality assurance reviews of project documents.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• 5-8 years of architectural production experience, including work in municipal/public sectors.
• Ability to take projects from start to finish, with a strong understanding of building assembly.
• Exceptional design and technical abilities.
• Strong sketching and freehand drawing skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Preferably on track to obtain an architectural license.
• Strong experience in architectural production, spatial/environmental design, and quality design sensibility.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver effective presentations.

Work Environment

The firm is led by a President & CEO and consists of 50-60 employees with a main office in Mountainside, NJ and a growing office in Boca, FL. The company has a relaxed working environment with a strong emphasis on employee well-being. The expectation is to be in the office 5 days a week for 40 hours, with flexibility earned over time. The firm offers Summer Fridays from Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend, working Monday to Thursday from 8am to 6pm and Friday from 8am to 12pm. Benefits include 15 days of PTO, 8 paid holidays, annual performance reviews for advancement, yearly bonuses, and continuing education opportunities like Lunch & Learn sessions every Wednesday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Boca Raton, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $45.67/hr.
