PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The team member is responsible to set up, adjust, operate, and maintain 2 OMAX Water jets simultaneous within process requirements. The team member must be able to perform 2D CAD part layouts, create work holding solutions and perform inspection as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Set Up, adjust, operate and maintain two OMAX water jets
• Perform 2D CAD layouts along with manual part layout
• Create work holding solutions and tool paths for complex parts
• Translates GD&T blueprints into manufacturing process and part requirements.
• Perform sawing operations when required - Band Saw and Abrasive Saw
• Performs dimensional inspection of specimens and use of measuring equipment.
• Responsible for taking care of routine machine maintenance and keeping work area in neat condition.
• Follows all safety rules regarding machine operations and proper guarding.
• Assists in on-the-job training of new or current machinists with their machines and processes.
