We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Chemical Processor to join our metal finishing team. As a Chemical Processor, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining chemical baths and related equipment to process metal components according to specifications. This role is vital in ensuring the highest quality finishes on our products.

Schedule :

M-F 10 : 00am-6 : 30PM shift

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and maintain chemical baths used in metal finishing processes, such as plating, anodizing, and coating.
  • Monitor and adjust chemical concentrations, temperatures, and pH levels to ensure optimal processing conditions.
  • Load and unload metal parts into chemical baths, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
  • Inspect processed parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of chemical processing equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations while handling chemicals.
  • Document processing data, including chemical usage, bath conditions, and production output.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to address any issues related to the chemical finishing process.
  • Assist in the disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in chemistry or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in chemical processing or metal finishing is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of chemical safety practices and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to handle and work with hazardous chemicals safely and responsibly.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot processing issues.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move materials and equipment as needed.
