Mergers & Acquisitions Attorney

MW Talent is representing a confidential, top-tier global law firm seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate Attorney to join its elite and highly respected M&A Practice Group.

About the Role

This team handles sophisticated domestic and international M&A matters for Fortune 500 companies, private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and leading private companies. Attorneys are given substantial responsibility, client exposure, and opportunities to work on high-impact deals.

Responsibilities

• Advise on buy-side and sell-side transactions
• Work on acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, recapitalizations, spin-offs, carve-outs, joint ventures, LBOs, and tender offers
• Draft, negotiate, and revise complex transaction agreements
• Conduct due diligence and manage deal execution
• Provide legal and strategic business advice
• Collaborate with cross-office teams and take on increasing responsibility

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of substantive M&A experience at a major law firm
• Strong understanding of complex corporate structures
• Experience with cross-border transactions preferred
• Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong academic credentials
• Admitted to the state bar or eligible to waive in
