Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining procedures with empathy and professionalism
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately, keeping patient records updated within the electronic medical system
• Remain informed and adaptive to advances in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalently recognized certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
