AutoCAD Drafter / Designer

Position Overview :

We are seeking a technically savvy and teachable AutoCAD Designer to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in drafting and design with hands-on experience interpreting and updating engineering documents in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Interpret and draft redline markups using AutoCAD.
  • Read and understand P&IDs discipline-specific drawings and vendor documentation.
  • Check back-check and correct drawings before loading them into the system library.
  • Review and verify engineering documents from other disciplines and supplier equipment drawings.
  • Update and maintain master P&IDs master plot plans. electrical one-line drawings wiring diagrams instrument location plans and other managed documents.

Required Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in CAD Drafting or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of drafting experience preferably in an industrial or refining environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving project and department needs and technologies.

  • Familiarity with industrial refining processes.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
