Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location : Charleston, SC Agency : Cynet Health Pay : $1,988 per week Shift Information : Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration : 8 Weeks Start Date : 1 / 5 / 2026 About the Position Job Title : Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Pediatric Critical Care Duration : 8 Weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 Hours Experience : Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience License : Active South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact State RN License Certifications : BLS, PALS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have : - Experience with ECMO and CRT preferred - Must be able to float to all Pediatric units within the facility Description : The Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN will work three 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM. The position requires every other weekend and holiday rotation. Patient ratios will be 1 : 2 or 1 : 3. The clinician will float within their scope to meet facility needs. First-time travelers are accepted if they meet the required experience. All time off must be submitted at the time of application. Approval for time off is based on unit needs. The facility may call off one shift every two weeks. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. The hurricane season runs from June through November each year. Travelers should not confirm new assignments during the peak months of hurricane activity.
