Schedule Details : Night shifts with 8 and 12-hour options, including every third weekend and holiday rotations.

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview : Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you'll care for patients with complex conditions including :

Post-operative craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections

Spine surgeries (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)

Stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program

At the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), you will gain exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and patient care innovations.

Provide comprehensive, evidence-based care using the nursing process

Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes

Utilize critical thinking and communication skills to enhance patient care

Major Responsibilities :

Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and evaluate effectiveness

Recognize changes in patient status and adjust care plans proactively

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and personal professional development

Licensure and Certification Required :

Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Education and Experience :

Completion of an accredited nursing program

Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience

Skills and Abilities Required :

Ability to provide holistic patient care with a focus on family needs

Proficient in electronic medical records and communication tools

Strong organization, time management, and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements :

Ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Capable of safely transferring patients and using necessary medical equipment
