Job Description

As a Security Professional - Hospital Patrol Driver in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availabilitygiving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence to patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain high visibility, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the healthcare setting.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor premises and report any unusual conditions, hazards, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and / or directing visitors as needed, in accordance with site protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
