Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics, applying standardized assessments and keen observational methods.
• Devise tailored treatment strategies that targets both immediate milestones and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing aspirations.
• Deliver one-on-one speech therapy interventions focused on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallows adjustments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to ensure unified care plans.
• Provide insightful education to patients and families for continuous progress beyond clinical encounters.
• Help with the occasional inpatient therapy assessments and interventions, safeguarding continuity of care through the treatment journey.
• Ensure precise and prompt documentation following relevant state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Remain updated with the latest innovations in the field, enhancing your expertise through continuing education and peer networking.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), should ASHA certification be pending.

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Essential: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification acquired within 30 days of beginning employment.
