SERVICE AND DELIVERY TECHNICIAN

Description:

Small business seeking Service Technicians to deliver and/or service Durable Medical Equipment within the Greenville, NC and surrounding area. This is a full-time position with some overtime as needed. Applicants must have a clean driving record and a caring heart, as travel and interaction with patients / caretakers are a daily function of this position.

POSITION OUTLINE:

· Schedule and perform delivery and pick up of medical equipment at patients’ homes, hospitals, or other clinical environments

· On site repair of broken equipment as needed

· Refurbishing worn equipment as needed

· Maintain service center equipment, in patient ready condition at all time

· Coordinate weekly inventory audits and inform corporate service coordinator of needed inventory

· Ensure service vehicles are maintained appropriately

· Perform any other task assigned by the manager

Requirements:

Applicant Requirements:

· Intermediate knowledge of electronics and mechanics

· Customer service oriented and willingness to work with patients in their homes.

· Ability to meet and communicate with patients.

· Ability to learn equipment and instruct patients.

· Ability to lift, up to 80 pounds

· Attention to paperwork detail.

· Computer literate Microsoft Word and Excel

· Current driver’s license and clean driving record is required
