[job_card.job_description]Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM 36 guaranteed hours per week 13-week contract assignment Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care units and inpatient units as needed Every other weekend and every other holiday requirement Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility location 2 years minimum experience with 1 travel assignment preferred Med / Surg ICU and / or Neuro ICU background with strong neuro assessment skills required Required certifications : WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS EPIC charting experience required Associate degree or certificate required Care for 8-bed Neuro unit with stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients Perform neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation Experience with EVDs, ICP monitoring, and neuro interventional procedures preferred Must be able to work independently and manage tasks in a timely manner Any scrub color allowed Must comply with flu season masking policy if declining vaccinations Referral bonus
