Proficiency in : Visualforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Java or C# SOAP-based web services Strong understanding of relational databases and database design. Experience integrating Salesforce with other enterprise systems. Experience using Salesforce data tools such as : Excel Connector DemandTools Eclipse Force.com IDE Experience with middleware , scripted data loaders, web services, and enterprise integration technologies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, and 5+ years of programming and analysis experience , or equivalent experience . Prior Salesforce Developer experience within a large or highly customized environment. Salesforce Developer Certification (e.g., Platform Developer I or II).

Position Overview
The Arizona Department of Health Services is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team of developers, business analysts, and QA professionals. In this role, you will support the Licensing Management System (LMS) by developing new modules, enhancing existing Salesforce functionality, gathering requirements, performing routine updates, and producing technical documentation.
You will work in a highly customized Salesforce environment and collaborate within an Agile team while also operating independently when needed. This position is hybrid, requiring approximately 80% onsite work and 20% remote .
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce modules using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Apex .
- Maintain and update a large and highly customized Salesforce environment.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, functional requirements, and test scenarios.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, process flows, and integration details.
- Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Integrate Salesforce with external applications using real-time, batch, synchronous, and asynchronous methods.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.
- Utilize Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, DemandTools, Excel Connector, etc.) for data management.
