Nanny / Family Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Nanny / Family Assistant for our family in Irvington, NY. You will be responsible for caring for two children, ages 7 and 11, and assisting with household tasks for 20 to 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate is organized, warm, adaptable, and comfortable walking a small dog. Key Responsibilities: - Picking up children from the bus and driving them to activities - Running errands such as grocery shopping, post office visits, dry cleaning, and car maintenance - Walking and caring for a small dog - Preparing light meals Schedule: - Mandatory work on Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM - Total weekly hours will range from 20 to 30, to be agreed upon Desired Qualifications: - Highly organized and dependable - Strong communication skills with a warm, professional attitude - Proficiency in using technology to manage schedules and tasks, such as Google Calendar - Ability to remain calm and adapt in a dynamic household environment Start date is flexible, with the possibility to begin as early as January 5.
