Job Description
CSS is working with a world class healthcare system in need of a Cook to manage the kitchen and other cooks while ensuring the smooth running of operations.
Responsibilities :
Food preparation : Coordinating the production of hot foods, menu items, and more
Kitchen management : Maintaining work areas, equipment, and food handling procedures
Inventory : Monitoring food rotation and inventory levels
Menu : Creating menu dishes and assisting with recipe development
Staff : Training and evaluating other cooks and front of house staff
Safety : Ensuring compliance with health and safety codes, and that kitchen equipment is used safely
Cleanliness : Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, dining room, and other areas
Requirements :
At least 2 years of Cook experience
Work Weekends as well as holidays
Current Food Handler's certificate
Team player
Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
Excellent understanding of and ability to implement food safety and sanitation,
Excellent customer service
Solid time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Company Description
