EquidDoc Veterinary Services LLC is seeking an energetic veterinary assistant to join our team in North Oxford, MA. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting our mission of delivering excellent, comprehensive on-the-farm care to our clients and their horses (goats, sheep, alpacas and llamas too). Daily Responsibilities : Competently and confidently handle and restrain patients with a focus on safety Assist with radiographic, ultrasound, and endoscopy procedures, including equipment setup, breakdown, and cleaning Enter medical records data into the clinic information system with precision Stock inventory and clean instruments and equipment within practice vehicles and office Prepare and label patient medications for dispensing Process, prepare, and package laboratory samples for submission to the lab Drive veterinary trucks to farm and client sites Required Skills : Experience in veterinary practice, with a preference for equine handling experience Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience with animal handling, specifically working around horses Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Preference given to Certified Veterinary Assistants and / or Fear Free Certified individuals Company Information : EquidDoc is always there with great care and strives to provide the highest quality routine and emergency patient care.
