What you'll do
Lead crews to meet project timelinesSafely operate and control assigned equipmentAssist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as neededOversee and help with training of crew membersHelp ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulationsMaintain production notes & DOT paperworkOperate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenancePerform work in all weather conditionsAll other duties as assignedWhat you'll need
To be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyA valid driver's licenseHigh School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferredAt least three years of related experiencePrevious Foreman experience preferredKnowledge of established buried / underground cable installation procedures and techniques1-3 years previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications industry.Valid driver's license with CDL required.Ability to drive a company vehicle in a safe and responsible mannerAbility to meet critical deadlines under stressful conditionsHighly organized and the ability to multitaskAbility to accurately measure distance, using tapes or other measuring devicesPhysical abilities & exposures
Routinely : work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 poundsOccasionally : use ladder, keyboard and mouseWhy grow your career with us
