Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN with active BLS and ACLS certifications for day shifts and no call, weekend, or holiday duties.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in a PACU setting with a focus on post-anesthesia care
  • Work with ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastics, gynecology, general / breast oncology, and electrophysiology / cardiac cases
  • Day shift schedules include 7 : 30 AM - 4 : 00 PM, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM, and 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM
  • No weekend or holiday shifts required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • No floating to other units
  • Main responsibilities include caring for post-anesthesia patients and supporting a wide range of surgical specialties
  • No local candidates allowed; must reside more than 60 miles from the facility

    • Requirements

  • Active MD or compact RN license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Previous PACU experience is required
  • Experience in facility with 500+ bed count required
