BEL is looking for an Entry-Level Project Engineer to join our team of dedicated and passionate professionals. The role is a mix of office and field. BEL believes that the best engineers have boots on the ground experience allowing them to be able to see the real world application of their designs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, record drawings, details, grading, volume, and quantity analysis on AutoCAD
Participate as part of the project design team for engineering projects.
Meet with clients to conduct need analysis and project definition
Document construction procedures and update as needed
Observe all and potentially lead some applicable phases of environmental construction projects, while ensuring they adhere to scope, timelines, and budget
Perform routine inspections to ensure construction quality, conduct environmental testing, and related data analysis
Communicate with clients on project progress while developing positive and ongoing relationships with clients
Pursue opportunities for business development and future growth of the organization
60% project engineering and design; 40% field work performing construction quality assurance

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably civil or environmental

AutoCAD experience is required

Proficient at Microsoft Office

Must be an independent worker and self-motivated

Valid Driver's License, insurance and reliable vehicle a must

Willingness to travel - extended travel required as needed

Must be able to work long hours and weekends as needed

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time as needed
