Production Supervisor (Norcross)

A partner of Insight Global is looking for an experienced Night Shift Production Supervisor to join their fast-growing team. The production supervisor will be part of a Manufacturing organization. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that our production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a clean room manufacturing environment with high volume production. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the safe, consistent daily operation of the production of Photovoltaic cells following required quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities of associates to achieve daily manufacturing objectives and maximize operational efficiency and profits.
• Responds to production issues by pursuing and implementing solutions.
• Direct a team of process operators and technicians to achieve daily manufacturing objectives.
• Responsible for organizing and directing work assignments for all employees.
• Ensure that all safety, quality, and other manufacturing and engineering procedures are implemented and followed by enforcing productivity, quality, cost, and customer standards.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities consistent with company objectives.
• Identify and coordinate training opportunities to develop and maintain a motivated and capable team.
• Mentor and develop team members by providing associate coaching and development.
• Conduct performance reviews and participate in continuing evaluations of all shift personnel.
• Responsible for ensuring that all finished products are within quality specifications.
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping, safety, and quality are maintained, including the 5S system.
• Lead the investigation of the First Report of Injury if an employee is injured on the job.
• Coordinate employees' paid time off and maintain accurate timekeeping for employees.
• Monitor employees attendance and take corrective action based on company policy.
• Responsible for monitoring and ensuring that the overall workflow of the lines and manufacturing processes cycle times are being met.
• Responsible for utilizing support teams to troubleshoot production issues as they arise by finding the root cause and putting corrective actions in place to ensure the issue is resolved promptly.
• Generate production reports and other required daily paperwork.
• Coordinate with other supervisors and departments on day-to-day activities and issues.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Permanent Direct Hire Opportunity : $80,000-85,000 per year with a shift differential. There is also bonus eligibility for this role.
