School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location : Hollister, CA

Duration : 180 school days

Hours per Week : 37.5

Pay Rate : $88 / hr

Start Date : November 2025

Amergis is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a school district in Hollister, CA. This full-time role covers multiple school sites and is designed to cover a maternity leave through the end of the school year. The selected candidate will begin in November, shadowing the current SLP, and transition to independent coverage starting in December.

Position Description :

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations, providing therapy services, and documenting progress in accordance with each student's individualized plan of care and physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements :

Active SLP licensure in California

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred (may be required by state / contract)

Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice

Current CPR certification (if applicable)

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

General Comments :

Monday-Friday schedule

Multiple site coverage

37.5 hours / week

Covering maternity leave until end of school year

Shadowing in November; independent coverage begins in December
