Job Description

This role involves leading hardware design for new product development, focusing predominantly on analog circuit design. You will oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept through schematic, PCB layout, design for manufacturing, testing, and release. This position also includes mentoring early-career engineers and acting as a technical leader. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and test engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital circuits, PCB layouts, and system-level architectures.
• Support development of PoE products, Ethernet cable testers, underground locators, and instrumentation hardware.
• Conduct hands-on troubleshooting using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and analyzers.
• Evaluate new technologies and contribute to product innovation.
• Create comprehensive design documentation including requirements, performance specifications, safety guidelines, and test plans.
• Participate in stage-gate product introduction and cross-functional project reviews.
• Engage with customers during testing and validation to provide technical support.
• Work independently with minimal direction within a small, fast-moving engineering team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $170000.00 / yr.
