Spare Parts And Tools Planner

This position will be responsible for planning and replenishing spare parts and tools needed for Customer Support activities including North and South America fleet requirements, Repair and Overhaul shop and Hangar Maintenance activities. He / She will be responsible to analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities in support to spare parts planning activities, improving materials availability and customer service level. Responsible to periodically review and adjust planning policy and target stock levels for Nevada and Louisiana distribution centers in accordance with company working capital goal and service level. Responsible to create, review and release, purchase requisitions and intercompany / intra plant stock transfer order to support replenishment activities for AOG orders, Customer orders, P 145 requirements and stock settings. Responsible to maintain stock in accordance with the desired target level, performing analysis and corrective actions in order to increase stock turns and reduce excess, optimizing company assets. Responsible to review technical bulletins analyzing AWPC fleet needs. Coordinating between local Product Support Engineering and central hub material department anticipating materials need in order to minimize customer down time. Responsible to continuous analyze, define, and review repairable material pools gathering information as scrap rates, vendor average turnaround time, working capital investment to guarantee the optimal inventory level and desired customer service level. Supporting central material department in annual budgeting and forecasting analysis for purchasing of repairable parts. First level support for issues related to SAP planning and ERP systems, MRP planning run, Forecasting release, Order creation, creation of standard excel template for recurring analysis. Define, perform and maintain the approved reports and KPI to measure the service level and performance to the rotable pool management activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Analyzing historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities in support to spare parts planning activities, improving materials availability and customer service level. 15%

2. Reviewing and adjust planning policy and target stock levels for Nevada and Louisiana distribution centers in accordance with company working capital goal and service level. 15%

3. Creating, reviewing and releasing, purchase requisitions and intercompany / intra plant stock transfer order to support replenishment activities for AOG orders, Customer orders, P 145 requirements and stock settings. 15%

4. Maintaining stock in accordance with the desired target level, performing analysis and corrective actions in order to increase stock turns and reduce excess, optimizing company assets. 15%

5. Reviewing technical bulletins analyzing AWPC fleet needs. Coordinating between local Product Support Engineering and central hub material department anticipating materials need in order to minimize customer down time. 10%

Education : BS degree or equivalent work experience.

Experience : Requires a minimum of 3 years, directly related experience in areas of material planning, forecasting and procurement. Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite Operational knowledge of SAP and APO Used to work in a multi-cultural environment, strong communication skills.

Competencies & Attributes : Above licensure / certification ISM and / or APICS certification is a plus SAP / APO certification.
