Acquisition Management Analyst

Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) is an engineering company that provides government projects and programs with experienced and dedicated system architects, engineers, subject matter experts (in tactical intelligence), and program managers. VNE also develops training courses and tools to prepare warfighters to effectively employ tactical intelligence systems and provide management guidance to the government organizations that develop these systems. Qualifications

VNE, LLC is looking for a Secret Cleared Acquisition Management Analyst. Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BSBA or BBA), Economics, Finance, Commerce, Business Information Systems, or business-related field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience providing financial management support to a program / project and / or corporate operations department.
  • Individual shall have experience examining budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance.
  • Individual shall have experience coordinating financial activities across various stakeholders; managing finances across multiple funding types / sources; tracking budgets, costs, and variances; and conducting financial reporting and analyses on financial issues and customer / stakeholder requirements.
  • Individual shall be proficient in research methods, statistical analysis, and the use of financial / analytical software (spreadsheets and / or databases).
  • Individual shall have experience working as part of a team in the delivery of product or service.
  • Experience with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Secret level Clearance required.

Additional Qualifications (Highly Desired) :

  • Technical Editing / writing skills.
  • MS Project experience.

    • Job Description

    Support Program Manager to generate and deliver contractual and financial reporting.

  • Develop and maintain programmatic documentation, e.g., weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer-facing reports such as Task Order Status Reports (TOSR), Monthly Status Reports (MSR), After Action Reports (AAR), Staffing Plan Reports, and other contractual deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain financial tracking models to track budgets, costs, and variances; update Spend Plans and Staffing Plans.
  • Create and work with formulas in Excel to integrate complex data across multiple projects.
  • Create and maintain standardized documents and templates in Excel, Word, and other platforms as required.
  • Develop and propose courses of actions (COAs) and recommendations for financial issues.
  • Perform support tasks to include word processing, spreadsheet development, documentation management, financial analysis, data collection, report processing, brief preparation, and email generation.
  • Complete and execute purchase requests.
  • Complete and process travel requests.
  • Complete After-Action Reports.

    • Essential Duties of the Job

  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face

  • While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
