JOB TITLE : Shift Supervisor (SS)
SUPERVISOR : Assistant General Manager (AGM), General Manager (GM), Area Coach (AC)
STATUS : Non-Exempt
BASIC PURPOSE :
As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the operations of the restaurant during your shift. You will inspire and motivate team members to deliver exceptional service to our customers while tackling challenges as they arise.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Customer Service : Ensure every customer experiences exceptional service and satisfaction. Your commitment to customer care will set the standard.
Team Leadership : Lead, train, and motivate staff to excel. Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time and team members present themselves professionally.
Team Development : Engage in training and mentoring aspiring leaders, providing valuable feedback to foster their growth.
Operations Leadership : Act as Manager-in-Charge (MIC), ensuring compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures.
Profit & Loss Management : Collaborate with leadership to help achieve the restaurant's financial objectives.
Communication : Maintain open lines of communication with upper management regarding any operational issues.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred : 6 months to 1 year of restaurant experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Maintain a valid Health Card pursuant to state or local regulations.
Basic proficiency in math and reading is required.
Must possess the ability to read, speak, comprehend, and write in English.
Reliable transportation is essential.
Pass a Criminal Background Check.
Complete the SERVSAFE Certification Course and Exam successfully.
Strong verbal communication skills are necessary.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shifts.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to engage in various physical motions, including walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stretching, and repeating movements.
