[job_card.job_description]$10,000 sign-on bonus eligible with distance-based relocation. $2,000 sign-on bonus for evening shifts at Aurora St Luke's Medical Center. Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment that promotes optimal patient care. Utilize aseptic surgical techniques in the preparation and maintenance of the surgical area, instruments, and supplies. Set up the operating room for each procedure and operate various equipment as needed. Assist the surgical team as a Second Assistant when required. Notify staff of equipment and supply issues to maintain operational efficiency. Transport patients and / or supplies with a focus on safety and protocol. Maintain specialty carts and ensure all instruments are in working order. Provide appropriate patient care considering age-specific needs. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 6 months. Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. No prior experience required. Understanding of aseptic techniques and operating room equipment. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Basic computer proficiency. Must manage a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Able to lift and move patients and equipment as required (up to 50 lbs and perform transfers with assistance). Exposed to various hazards and required to wear protective gear.

Full-time, evening shift with 8 or 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, plus on-call rotation (5-8 overnight call slots and 1-2 weekend call slots in an 8-week scheduling window).
