CATIA CAA (Component Application Architecture) Developer

This role demands a senior-level CATIA CAA (Component Application Architecture) Developer with a minimum of 68+ years of focused experience in CAA development within aerospace environments. The position is 100% on-site in Seattle, WA and strictly requires US Citizens or Green Card holders, with a strong preference for US Citizens due to ITAR and NERC CIP compliance requirements.

The technical mandate centers on building and enhancing CAA V5 applications, including custom APIs, GUI components, automation scripts, and integrations across CATIA and ENOVIA V5. The engineer must be fluent in C++, CAA frameworks, web services, and API developmentpositioned to drive full?stack CATIA extension development.

The role emphasizes hands?on engineering rigor : designing, developing, configuring, and exposing new CATIA / ENOVIA APIs while ensuring compliance with architectural standards, performance guidelines, and aerospace?grade software reliability expectations. The engineer will be deeply involved in peer reviews, quality assurance, and lifecycle governance for all CAA deliverables.

A solid foundation in mechanical design engineering is considered advantageous, enabling tighter collaboration with design teams and better interpretation of model behaviors, geometry rules, and downstream applications.
