We are currently seeking a Transportation Engineer (III / IV) to help serve our connection of clients and community. The projected range of compensation in Illinois for this job is $80,000 - $95,000.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include

• Lead or contribute significantly to the design and delivery of transportation projects, including roadway geometrics, intersections, pedestrian facilities, drainage, and traffic control.
• Develop and review engineering plans, models, and calculations using MicroStation / OpenRoads and / or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Prepare design reports, cost estimates, technical memos, specifications, and milestone submittals for DOT, LPA, or municipal agencies.
• Oversee and guide junior engineers, providing mentorship, task coordination, and quality review of design documents.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, subconsultants, utilities, and permitting agencies to ensure project requirements and schedules are met.
• Perform advanced engineering analyses, troubleshoot design challenges, and propose effective technical solutions.
• Support or lead project planning, scope development, and discipline-level budgeting as experience allows.
• Participate in QA / QC reviews and ensure compliance with relevant DOT, municipal, and industry standards.
• Conduct occasional field investigations, site reviews, or construction support activities.
