[job_card.job_description]Manage operational processes and applicable documentation for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development team at the IEDC including but not limited to reporting, financial management, annual compliance, strategic planning, and operational policies and procedures Assist in compiling and entering programmatic data and monitor organizational output Support the completion of grant proposals, including narrative and budget. Manage and report on programs, initiatives, and grant projects to internal and external stakeholders Manage planning and execution of various meetings and events, including creation of reports, agendas, and logistics Vendor management, including processing of invoices, budget tracking, drafting scopes of work, assisting with procurement, etc. Assist in the assessment, development and rollout of statewide assistance initiatives, tools, and resources Aid in the creation of and roll out of marketing materials, collateral, and business development materials for Entrepreneurship and Small Business programming Assist in the development and implementation of communication plans for programs, events, and partnerships Ensure proactive relationship building and resource sharing between partners and IEDC initiatives, resources, and departments 2-5 years related professional work experience Bachelor's Degree in business, public administration / affairs, or other directly related field and / or substantial industry experience Administrative experience Project management Significant computer experience, including using Microsoft Suite, CRMs, Monday, etc. Experience in identifying business and economic development needs within a community and executing initiatives to meet identified needs Public sector or grants management experience Operational experience and knowledge of small business program management and administration Experience in working with senior leaders in business or the community Results Focused - executes strategy and takes accountability for group results Decision Making and Judgment -the ability to look at complex issues and problems, analyze the data, determine appropriate solutions, and make decisions that support the strategic direction Administration - operational management of programs and partnerships Attention to Detail - ability to develop and review complex documents to ensure error free quality Influence - ability to persuade individuals at all levels to buy into concepts and direction Initiative -acts on problems or opportunities without being prompted Independent Contributor - works independently, is self- motivated, goal oriented, can meet deadlines without significant supervision Fast Paced and Diverse - wants a job that changes day to day with a variety of tasks and interactions Continuous Learner -wants to continuously gain new knowledge, approaches, and experience Three (3) medical plan options (including RX coverage) as well as vision and dental plans Wellness Rewards Program : Complete wellness activities to earn gift card rewards Health savings account, which includes bi-weekly state contribution Deferred compensation 457(b) account (similar to 401(k) plan) with employer match Two (2) fully-funded pension plan options A robust, comprehensive program of leave policies covering a variety of employee needs, including but not limited to : 160 hours of paid New Parent Leave and up to eight weeks of paid Childbirth Recovery Leave for eligible mothersUp to 16 hours of paid community service leave Combined 192 hours of paid vacation, personal, and sick leave time off 12 paid holidays, 14 on election years Education Reimbursement Program Group life insurance Referral Bonus program Employee assistance program that allows for covered behavioral health visits Qualified employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Free Parking for most positions Free LinkedIn Learning access

Role Overview :
The Program Manager, Entrepreneurship Development is responsible for managing the day-today operations of entrepreneurship, small business, and innovation programs on the Entrepreneurship and Small Business team. This individual is responsible for aiding in the implementation and execution of the projects and programs related to supporting Indiana entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Salary Statement :
The salary range for this position is $63,787 - $66,000 annually.
A Day in the Life : Program Management :
- Assist in planning and executing entrepreneurship development programming in alignment with team strategic goals and priorities
- Manage day-to-day operations of economic development programming for team including, but not limited to, financial management, data management, partner management, intake, etc. for programs.
- Advise VP of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development on programming, management, and policy matters
- Research best practices in entrepreneurship and innovation-based economic development, and assist with policy and resource development
- Meet with potential and accepted users of entrepreneurship programs to discuss eligibility, process, and acceptable uses of funds
