Entry Writer, Logistics

3PL / International freight forwarder in the industry, priding thenselves on their robust end to end solutions they offer to their clients, as well as reputation for excellence in the market, is seeking an Entry Writer / Logistics Coordinator!

Responsibilities

Prepare customs documentation, ensuring shipments meet applicable laws to facilitate import and export of goods

Coordinate air and ocean shipments, determining accurate tariff classifications and duty value for entry submission

Partner with the operations / account management and sales teams for optimal customer satisfaction

Coordinate and submit Importer Security Filings (ISF)

Follow all domestic and international shipping regulations and daily correspondence with international offices

Invoice clients / overseas agents / vendors

Qualifications

Ability to work both independently and within a team

2 plus years of industry experience, ideally as an entry writer

High energy, with a passion for maintaining / retaining relationships with outside clients and vendors

Self-starter with strong organization & presentation skills

Ability to work onsite
