OUR CLIENT, SEMINOLE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS, IS SEEKING DEDICATED AND RELIABLE INDIVIDUALS TO JOIN THE CUSTODIAL SERVICES TEAM. AS A CUSTODIAN, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING CLEANLINESS AND ORDERLINESS IN VARIOUS SCHOOL FACILITIES WITHIN SEMINOLE COUNTY.
Basic Responsibilities:

- Perform general cleaning duties on campus, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming as needed.

- Emptying trash receptacles and replacing liners.

- Sanitizing and restock restrooms.

- Cleaning windows, mirrors, and other surfaces using cleaning chemicals safely.

- Responding promptly to cleaning requests and urgent matters.

- Maintaining cleanliness of hallways, classrooms, offices, and common areas.

- Operating custodial equipment and machinery safely.

Qualifications:

- Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.

- Experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred but not required.

- Ability to pass the level 2 background check and badging process required for all locations

- Ability to pass in-office drug test

- Capable of following instructions and working independently.

- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

- Physical stamina needed to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects if needed.

- Flexibility to work in the afternoon and evenings (this will open up the most opportunities for you).

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
