Location : A city located in the south-central part of the state. It plays an important role in the region both historically and economically. This city is situated about 40 miles west of Detroit and 30 miles north of the state line with Ohio.

Facility : A 420-bed healthcare facility providing a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, including such specialty services as cardiac surgery, minimally invasive structural heart procedures, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and partial or total joint replacement.

• Seeking a Board Eligible / Certified Gastroenterologist with ERCP certification. Join an exciting opportunity with a forward-looking dynamic GI hospital program and a full support staff.
• Will consider candidates who are Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within a year). Board Certified in Gastroenterology with 5-8 years of GI work experience (not including residency / fellowship) is preferred
• Position includes inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic
• Reason for coverage is growth and one replacement hire
• Average number of patients per day : Clinic is covered one day / week with APP support in-house and in the clinic
• Trauma Level II
• A hospital-owned endoscopy center and outpatient clinic on the hospital campus allow for easy access to your patients in any location
• Teaching opportunities are available through our GME program for those interested in academic involvement
• Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments
• Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization
• Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues
• ITIL and or other industry certification is preferred
• PMP is preferred
• Incumbents may be asked to perform job-related duties beyond those explicitly described
• Qualify for federal school loan forgiveness program
