Server/Dishwasher

Description:

Responsibilities and Functions:

Works under the supervision of the Dietary Department Head and Dietary Supervisors

Responsibilities are as follows;

• Keeping all areas of food storage organized and clean
• Serve residents with appropriate food portions, per individual diet needs
• Assist with washing, clearing and resetting tables
• Wash dishes/silverware, cooking utensils and cookware
• Assist with stocking shelves as needed.
• Generate and assist with sub slips
• Help sweep & mop dining area at the shift end
• Help to kitchen area clean, and ensure clean at end of shift
• Make up trays
• Stock upstairs cooler
• Pour coffee
• Help with any extras to be done
• Assist residents with elevators
• Other duties as assigned
• Attend required staff meetings.

Work hours as scheduled by supervisor

Servers and dishwashers are cross-trained between the 2 positions

Requirements:

• Must be at least 15 years of age with valid workers permit
• Current physical and TB test
• Ability to lift at least 25lbs
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to interact with others and provide good customer service
• Motivation and ability to work independently
• Demonstrates dependability
• Adherence to policies and procedures
