ETL Python Test Lead

Job description Infosys is seeking a ETL Python Test Lead. As a ETL Python Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.4+ years of Information Technology experience.Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Tampa, FL or be willing to relocate to one of these areas. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.Preferred Qualifications : Design and develop a scalable Python-based test automation framework for validating data pipelines and reports.4+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on data and ETL pipelines.Proven proficiency in Python for test automation and scripting.Solid experience with SQL for data validation and analysis.Familiarity with version control systems and CI / CD tools.Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skillsCollaborate closely with data engineers, product owners, and QA teams to define effective test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.Build and maintain test data sets tailored to individual product requirements and make them available to SDETs for functional testing.Develop and maintain automated test scripts for data ingestion, transformation, and output validation.Perform in-depth data analysis and validation using SQL across diverse data sources.Integrate automated tests into pipelines to enable continuous validation and early detection.Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with development teams to drive resolutionExperience with Java and Selenium for UI or legacy test framework support.Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and AWS.Exposure to data governance, data quality, and metadata management toolsThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
